| After a decade leading the New England Business Growth Collective – (still doing business as the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council)– as President and CEO, I would like to personally share that I will be retiring effective December 31, 2025. Though I will miss being part of such a wonderful team, I am confident that our regional network–our Staff, Board, MBEs, and corporate partners – is well positioned to take the organization to the next level. When required we have proven our ability to pivot, ensuring that we deliver on-demand high quality programs and services to all our stakeholders. Now is the time to hand the baton over to the next generation. You should all be extremely proud of the financial strength, effective governance, and talented staff in place that will enable the Collective to meet the internal and external challenges that are sure to lie ahead. Most importantly, I trust we will continue to develop an intentional focus on building the Collective’s ability to proactively identify new opportunities that maximize our positive economic impact for those who lack equal access to the key levers of business success: Financial Capital; Intellectual Capital; and meaningful Connections. In addition to the Collective’s achievements over the last decade, I am especially proud of the role I played in helping negotiate a new affiliate agreement with the National Office, an agreement that I hope will lead to a long-overdue healing and renewed partnership between the Affiliates and the National Office. Finally, I am forever thankful for my special partnership with an incredibly effective and committed Board of Directors and Staff. This unique partnership is not to be taken for granted and is the biggest single factor for our success in overcoming and prospering despite unprecedented challenges. Together, we have been involved in the dramatic evolution of the Collective into an organization that is financially strong and focused on creating and delivering effective programs that allow minority owned businesses of all sizes and verticals to thrive and prosper. My sincerest thanks and appreciation to our Board, our Staff, our stakeholders—our corporate members and our MBEs, and our community partners for your support, guidance and partnership. I treasure the many authentic and lasting relationships I have made over the last decade and look forward to staying connected with you all. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season!
