Nipsey Hussle’s two children have received their inheritance payouts from their late father’s estate.
Court documents obtained by TMZ disclosed that Nipsey’s 17-year-old daughter, Emani, and 9-year-old son, Kross, have received cash payments as well as assets.
Nipsey’s brother, Blacc Sam, oversees the late rapper’s estimated $11 million estate. Blacc Sam and Emani’s mother, Tanisha Foster, were initially locked in a dispute over Nipsey’s inheritance for years. But they ultimately reached an agreement in 2025.
Following his death, Nipsey’s girlfriend, Lauren London, signed a document to confirm that Kross had received his portion of his late father’s estate. Emani and Kross split the funds equally, though the amount of money was not disclosed.
Blacc Sam also disclosed in the documents that Nipsey left behind assets including a 2012 Chevy Suburban, an interest in The Marathon Clothing company and other businesses, as well as multiple trademarks.
As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Nipsey, whose real name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was shot outside his Marathon Clothing store on March 31, 2019. Eric Holder Jr., the man convicted of fatally shooting the Victory Lap rapper, was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison in February 2023.
Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke gave Holder’s sentence in a Los Angeles courtroom after hearing from one of Nipsey’s friends and reading a letter from Holder’s father. Holder was also found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter after two others were injured in the shooting.
At the start of his trial in June 2022, prosecutors told the court that Holder’s actions were planned and premeditated. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney alleged that Holder was well aware he was going to take the rapper’s life. Nipsey was struck at least ten times, McKinney said, adding that Holder also kicked the rapper’s head before fleeing the scene.
