HARTFORD, CT — Access Health CT, Connecticut’s official health insurance marketplace, will hold enrollment fairs throughout the state during the open enrollment period, which runs through Jan. 15, 2027. There are nine events planned in October and November to help Connecticut residents shop, compare and enroll in health or dental insurance plans for 2027. Existing customers can also get help renewing their plans.
Enrollment fairs are one-day events for customers to get in-person help from experts. The upcoming fairs will take place in Bloomfield, Bridgeport, Danbury, Manchester, Meriden, Middletown, New London, Norwalk and Stratford. Additional fairs will be announced for December and January, according to Access. All help is free.
The date a customer enrolls determines when their insurance starts. Customers who enroll on or before Dec. 15, 2026 will have insurance starting Jan. 1, 2027. Customers who enroll between Dec. 16, 2026 and Jan. 15, 2027 will have insurance starting Feb. 1, 2027.
