Two Families will Open the Doors to Their Affordable, Brand-New, Energy-Efficient Habitat Homes in the East End of Bridgeport
Dawanna Jones stated, “It’s more than just owning a property—it’s the beginning of long-term security, comfort, and privacy.”
WHO: Habitat CFC Board and staff; our newest Habitat homeowners—Dawanna and her son Dylan, as well as Yomaira and Efrain Rivera and their children; elected officials; house sponsor representatives; friends and extended family; and community members.
WHAT: Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (Habitat CFC) welcomes media and community members to join us in celebrating the dedication of two new, energy-efficient, and affordable Habitat homes for Dawanna and her son, and for the Rivera family. The Home Dedication Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at 310–312 Deacon Street in the East End of Bridgeport.
During the Home Dedication Ceremony, the families will open the door to their new homes for the first time. They will also receive housewarming gifts from Habitat staff and volunteers.
