February is Black History Month. Yale’s Beinecke Library is home to scores of items that document and celebrate the cultural, artistic, and intellectual achievements of African Americans — including the James Weldon Johnson Memorial Collection and Langston Hughes Papers. In addition, the online guide “Focus on Black History Month” highlights groups, events, media, and other resources at Yale University and beyond that explore Black history and experiences.
