On Saturday, Dec. 20, members of Wilbur Cross High School’s boys basketball team volunteered at New Haven’s Bethel AME Church food pantry. Head Coach Kevin Walton organized the community service activity.
The Governors’ next game is against Branford, on Friday evening, Jan. 2, at the Robert H. Saulsbury Gymnasium at Cross. The varsity plays at 7:00 p.m., preceded by the freshmen at 4:15 and the junior varsity at 5:30.
Wilbur Cross hosts another game, against Fairfield’s Warde High School, on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 3:00 p.m., again preceded by the JV.
