Award Winning Pizzerias, Craft Breweries, Live Music, Unlimited Samples Headline at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport Saturday August 2nd
BRIDGEPORT, CT (July 24, 2026) – Connecticut doesn’t just love pizza, we built a reputation around it. On Sunday, August 2, the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater will once again transform into the state’s ultimate celebration of pizza and craft beverages as the Fourth Annual Connecticut Pizza & Brew Fest brings together many of Connecticut’s favorite pizzerias, breweries and food vendors for an afternoon dedicated to one of the state’s most iconic traditions.
Hosted by Larry Janesky’s Connecticut Basement Systems, the event gives guests the opportunity to sample pizzas from restaurants across Connecticut while enjoying craft beer tastings, live music, pizza-making demonstrations, specialty food vendors and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day.
This year’s lineup brings Connecticut pizza legends and neighborhood favorites under one roof, giving visitors the rare opportunity to sample many of the state’s most celebrated pizzas side by side. Participating vendors include Frank Pepe Pizzeria, Zuppardi’s Apizza, Colony Grill, Grand Apizza, Inferno Apizza, Slice of New Haven, The Parlor: A Pizza Joint, Big Green Truck Pizza, Little Italy Pizza Truck, Nonna Lucia’s Dough-licious, Una Dolce Vita, and more.
Pizza may be the star of the show, but it won’t be dining alone because guests can also sample a wide variety of craft beers, ciders, wines, meads and specialty beverages from participating partners including BADSONS Beer Co., Berlinetta Brewing, Downeast Cider, Mishka Mead, New Belgium Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Josh Cellars Wines, Happy Dad, The Finnish Long Drink, Woodstock, Pizza Wine, and additional beverage vendors.
“We’ve certainly earned national recognition as one of the country’s premier pizza destinations,” said Kevin Begley, a Pizza Fest organizer. “In Connecticut, pizza is a point of pride. Everyone has a favorite and everyone has an opinion. It’s what makes this festival so fun, and, I mean, who doesn’t love a good slice?”
Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy live pizza-making demonstrations, including New Haven-style pizza techniques by Frank Zabski of New Haven Pizza School, along with a live recording of Connecticut’s pizza-focused podcast, Charred: A New Haven Pizza Show.
In addition to unlimited pizza and beverage tastings, attendees can enjoy live entertainment, local vendors, interactive exhibits and the opportunity to vote for their favorite pizza.
Live music from The Rum Runners will keep the energy high throughout the afternoon while guests enjoy food, beverages and entertainment.
Now in its fourth year, Connecticut Pizza & Brew Fest has become one of the state’s signature summer food events, attracting pizza lovers from across New England to celebrate Connecticut’s nationally recognized pizza culture.
